I’ve been dedicated to helping those not always able to help themselves since law school more than 35 years ago. My legal career in Connecticut began in the Judicial System, progressing from criminal court clerk to Juvenile Court prosecutor to Assistant State’s Attorney. After leaving the State’s Attorneys’ office, I continued litigating in both federal and state courts, and for the past 20 years have devoted myself almost exclusively to helping men, women & children with matrimonial & family law issues. I also serve as a Guardian Ad Litem or Attorney for the Minor Children.
As a member of my local Domestic Violence Task Force I continue to work to raise public awareness of the problems of domestic abuse. My dedication to community service includes serving as an elected Police Commissioner and Town Moderator.
I understand not only the relevant law, but also the trauma clients face during life-changing events. From start-to-finish, I serve my clients by listening to their stories, answering their questions, helping them think clearly, and guiding them through the court system towards sound decisions to protect their legal rights, family and financial stability.
I understand the effects of emotional, financial & physical abuse and how to stand up to bullying. If a criminal protective order or family restraining order is needed, I will be with you all the way. I know how to look for hidden assets and I am not satisfied until full financial disclosure is made. If an issue cannot be settled amicably, I am always fully prepared to fight for my clients in court.
As your divorce attorney, I will personally represent you throughout your divorce & post-divorce matters including child support, alimony, custody & visitation, domestic violence, restraining orders & property settlements. You get the personal attention you deserve. Your paperwork will never get lost and your calls will never be ignored.

Faith Mauri, Paralegal
Faith Mauri has many years of legal support experience. We work as a team in the representation of our clients. Faith helps our clients organize their information, compiles the information we need to produce and reviews production documents received to be sure we have gotten all requested information. She meets with our clients to go over their draft financial affidavit information and answers questions about what needs to be provided.
When I am in court or otherwise out of the office, Faith is your liaison to me. She makes sure that your messages get to me and that I answer your questions promptly.
